Van Laar

Short Model Cornet

This instrument was the catalyst for my sponsorship from Van Laar. I had seen that Van Laar had a short model cornet suited for British Brass Banding, but I wasn’t aware that I’d get to try one so soon. East Coast Trumpets had this instrument at AdamFest in Boone North Carolina. Each time I picked it up at the booth, I got more and more hooked. I was actually the first Van Laar artist to be playing this instrument.

In my opinion, this instrument has the traditional cornet sound but does not compromise on playability.
